Job advertisement: Veterinary assistant or animal carer
Employer: Schnurr & Pfote veterinary practice, Malsch
Type of employment: Full-time, part-time (for those who also have a life outside of work)
Payment: Above tariff (because you are worth it!)

Are you so fond of animals that you think about the welfare of Fluffy and co. even when it's full moonlight? Your friends call you „Dr Doolittle“ because of your extraordinary ability to communicate with animals? Perfect! Our practice, Tierarzt-Malsch.de, is looking for exactly you: a superhero-like veterinary assistant or an equally superhero-like animal carer.
Your mission, should you accept it:
- Treating fluffy, feathery and sometimes scaly patients with love and professionalism.
- Patiently explain to worried pet parents with a smile (even under the mask) that their pet is in the best hands.
- Keeping an overview, even when the practice resembles a zoo - and we don't just mean the patients!
- Showing magical powers in dealing with bureaucracy: Scheduling, file management and telephone counting.
What you should bring with you:
- Completed training as a veterinary assistant or animal carer.
- A heart as big as a whale (figuratively speaking, of course).
- The ability not to immediately think of a TV programme when you hear „Here comes the mouse“.
- Willingness to pick up more hair at work than at home.
- Humour and patience, even when the same joke about „Katzenjammer“ is made for the tenth time.
What we offer:
- An above-standard salary that reflects your fantastic skills.
- A Team, that is as colourful and lovable as our patients.
- A part-time position because we understand that you may also have a few fur, feather or shed friends of your own at home.
- Coffee, as much as your heart desires (and chocolate for the particularly hard days).
Ready for the adventure? Then send your application, CV and proof of your superpowers (a.k.a. certificates) to s.arndt@doc4pets.gmbh. We look forward to welcoming you to our team - where every day has a little more fur!
Incidentally, we belong to the independent practice group doc4pets.
